Unauthorised Parking By This Passenger Van, PC2089B, On 5th September 2013 (Thursday) Evening

The passenger van was parked at a resident's car lot and it was being blocked by a lorry from leaving the premise.  The van driver was trying to manoeuvre his van out of the restrained area.  He tried for about half an hour but in vain. The management council member approached him and enquired his place and purpose of visit.  He was a bit uneasy and panic and gave out the apartment unit number, a lady's name and her contactable mobile number.  He said he had come to deliver cylinder of gas to that  apartment unit.  When the management council member tested the mobile number, he was taken aback from the reply, apparently the lady was expecting another client.

Using a passenger van to deliver a gas cylinder?? !! ?? Never heard of.

After some begging, the management council member sought the consent of the resident to let him go.

The Unauthorized Parking Is Back !!??!!

After a year, the situation of unauthorised parking is back at this private residential premise from September 2013.

All drivers of these vehicles who visited here are males. They stayed for 50 minutes to one hour plus and every of them just visited one particular apartment unit, which was just tenanted out to a gentleman who claimed to run a restaurant business. It was also observed that there were few young ladies staying at this same apartment unit.

These drivers blatantly ignored two car park notices, daringly parked their vehicles and boldly walked up to that particular apartment unit. When they were unfortunately met by the MCST management council member who happened to be around and questioned, all of them claimed to visit their friend in this particular apartment unit. However, they did not even know the name of their friend. Some just quickly drove away after more probing.

At times, these drivers came even as late as 10.50pm in the night. The MCST management council of this place has reported this undesirable and unhealthy phenomenon to the Authority. The reporter of 新明日报 also called to enquire. The Management Council took whatever opportunity it has to take the pictures of these vehicles.

We will also take this opportunity to upload and share with everyone the pictures of these vehicles, the date and time of their visit.

Unauthorised Parking! Are There Some Illicit Activities Going On?

The owners of this 6-unit private apartment residence (@146/146A/146B, 148/148A/148B Joo Chiat Terrace, Singapore) are troubled and perturbed by many different makes of vehicles being parked overnight by strangers and unfamiliar men. Their activities seem quite dubious.

This happens almost every night despite the fact that two big red metal notices are being put up to highlight that this is a private carpark, no visitor parking, no unauthorised parking and trespassers will be prosecuted.

It is believed that all residents, except the female foreign tenant(s) of a particular unit, do not know the drivers and owners of these vehicles. The irony is that one of the male tenant said that all vehicles belong to him.

The objective here is to post pictures of these vehicles so that their friends and/or family members can know where these drivers are at the odd hours of the night and can alert them that they and their presence are not welcome in this private residence.
